I might change my Fanart Friday to 'Pinterest Friday' or something. It's incredibly frustrating to do Fanart Friday and create something new/original when you haven't drawn in a long time. Everything goes wrong! Anatomy...shading...composition ...everything! So I went back to basics XD.

I'm finding Pinterest addictive to use too. The boards that have are my own ref boards for myself (feel free to ref them too lol) and it's great to just scroll through all the images you've collected. Am I sad to see them like Pokemon/card decks? And each image I collect is like adding a card to my deck? Yeh I'm sad.

Anyway, this was like a mini speed sketch/paint, just to take a break from design work. It's really, really nice to not work with guide/grid lines for once and just be as messy as hell OTL.

Oh, and I'm trying to be more active on my Tumblr and making it into a sketchblog. I've only done two studies so far: [link] and [link], not a lot I know but if anyone's interested in joining me in my "_____ Fridays" and using it as a weekly motivational / art training ground type thing ... YEH JOIN ME.
